As part of the festive concert for the opening of the new Faculty of Art, Music and Design, Currentes and Ruben Sverre Gjertsen perform Jacopo da Bologna´s "Sotto l´imperio del posente prinçe", exploring different ideas of timbral variation, processing, and degrees of abstraction. An open seminar with the research project "Wheels within wheels. New strategies for interactions between performers and composer." Performances and rituals by choreographed by Alwynne Pritchard, presentation by Ruben Sverre Gjertsen of work on Jacopo da Bologna´s Soto l´imperio, presentation of work on processes of improvisation. Currentes contributes to the opening of Norsk Barnemuseum´s and Landslovprosjektet´s exposition Miserabiles Personae.

"Robbers for a day". With a bit of help from the audience, we hope to make a program of our own music, with a baroque sound. To be on the safe side, or maybe not, we´ll steal some harmonies and melodies from the 17th and 18th centuries. And we´ll definitely try to sell the same idea´s more than once. Currentes and the project "Zacara Triduum" visits Worms. Collaboration with Ensemble Leones, Ensemble Micrologus, and Istituto Abruzzese di Storia Musicale. Currentes´ contribution: "Eine Messe für Zacara" – Ein Ordinarium aus der Handschrift Bologna Q15 mit einem Proprium für den 15. Sonntag nach Pfingsten. Programmeinführung um 16 Uhr: Stefan Morent.

As part of Currentes collaborates with the newly started vocal ensemble "Cantores Octo" in a programm comprising Palestrina´s famous "Missa Papae Marcelli", and falsobordoni from Giovanni Battista Bovicelli´s slightly less famous treatise on diminutions from 1594. Currentes performs in Antikk Musikk´s> traditional concert series in the old Latin School, where Ludvig Holberg was a pupil, and where now the Holberg Museum is situated.
